I am a 54 year old professional, I graduated in May 2005 at Lincoln University, Hull with a degree in social work and a diploma in social work. 

I consider myself to be a caring single male, who has always enjoyed helping others from local counsellor work, to school governor and community based projects and now in the field of social work.

My current ambition, goal is to write a factual book on the 1950's and to glean the views of those who remember well that very much changing decade.  My focus will be on a theme of "community life" then and it is hoped that if that one is successful, I will write a serious of books in the future.

I also enjoy travel both UK and worldwide, the theatre, musicals and serious plays and comedy also.  My other interests include golf, walking, and completing research articles.

I am looking forward to joining what sounds like a vibrant community that is "Hub Pages."
